Hello,

Welcome to my website! I am Kaiwen, a computer engineer and innovator. I enjoy creating intelligent solutions that are reliable and purposefully designed.

As a computer engineer, my core skills lie in electronic hardware and software — a combination that comes to life in robotics, which I find especially fascinating.

Given my multi-disciplinary background, I consider myself a jack of many trades. My greatest strength is learning new things quickly and offering fresh perspectives to solve complex challenges.

Education

I graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, with first class honors. I also completed the University Scholar’s Program (USP), and a second major in the Innovation & Design Program (IDP).

My time in IDP and USP gave me the opportunity to explore a wide range of ideas and disciplines, which continues to shape how I think and create today.

Achievements

• USP Honour Roll (2023), for being an outstanding student in USP
• IEEE-HKN NUS Chapter Inductee (2022), the honor society of IEEE
• Infantry Platoon Commander (2020), during my time in national service
• Plenty of medals from playing various sports over the years: football, hockey, floorball, touch rugby, and many more!

Activities & Interests

In 2024, I spent a year in Toronto on the NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) program. It was a wonderful experience filled with adventure, personal growth, and countless opportunities to explore a new culture and try new things.

In my free time, I like to stay active. Apart from playing sports (especially team invasion sports), I hit the gym regularly. Read this blog post to learn what weight lifting means to me 😉. I also enjoy travelling and eating good food (spicy please!).
