Welcome to my website! I am Kaiwen, a computer engineer and innovator. I enjoy creating intelligent solutions that are reliable and purposefully designed.

With an education in computer engineering and experience in machine learning, my interest lies in the intersection of AI & robotics — a combination where intelligence comes to life.

With a strong multi-disciplinary background, I thrive in unfamiliar environments and excel at learning fast, connecting ideas, and turning ambiguous problems into impactful solutions.

Education

I graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, with highest distinction honors. I also completed a second major in the Innovation & Design Program (IDP) and the University Scholar’s Program (USP) (honors college of NUS).

My time in IDP and USP gave me the opportunity to explore a wide range of ideas and disciplines, which continues to shape how I think and create today.

Activities & Interests

In 2024, I spent a year in Toronto on the NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) program. It was a wonderful experience filled with adventure, personal growth, and countless opportunities to explore a different environment and try new things.

In my free time, I like to stay active. Apart from playing sports (soccer and some racket sports), I hit the gym regularly. Read this blog post to learn what weight lifting means to me 💪. I also enjoy travelling and eating good food.
